Wellington, Grey and Bruce Railway (CN & CP in1968)
Owen Sound, Palmerston, Orangeville and Guelph (with branches to Southampton, Walkerton and Durham)
After
18 years of modelling the Intercolonial Railway in December of 2023 I
decided to change protypes and eras. I am now in the process of
converting my layout to CN and CP in 1968.
Lower
staging is Guelph, Ontario. Upper staging is Orangeville,
Ontario. The major yards are Palmerston and Owen Sound.
Orangeville to Owen Sound is CP and Guelph to Owen Sound is CN.
The lines interchange at Owen Sound with minor interchanges at
other locations. The mainline is the CN Owen Sound Subdivision
and Fergus Subdivision as well as the CP Owen Sound Subdivision.
There
are two CN branches on the layout, the Southampton Subdivision
(Walkerton and Southampton) and the Durham Subdivision (Mount Forest
and Durham).
There are two CP branches are represented by sidings on the layout, the Teeswater Subdivision and the Walkerton Subdivision)
