Scale:  HO  
Size:   33' X 26' with staging at both ends and a return loop at both ends.  There are two branches , the Abercrombie Sub at about 28' feet of track and Pictou Landing Sub at about 20' ft of track. 
Prototype:   Canadian National, Hopewell Subdivision, Oxford Subdivision, Pictou Landing Subdivision, and Sydney Subdivison.     
Locale:    Stellarton, New Glasgow, Trenton, Granton, Abercrombie, Pictou Landing, Valley, Havre Boucher, North Sydney, Nova Scotia.  Staging is Truro and Sydney, Nova Scotia
Period 1978
Layout style:         Around the walls and branches out from the walls with a double deck in the second room for staging and a return loop at both ends
Layout height:   54" to 66"
Bench work:  Steel Benchwork using C Channel and Steel Studs. 
Roadbed: Cork on 2" styrofoam insulation.  Using Woodland Scenics incline sets for grades.   Staging is cork on 3/16" gatorboard.
Track:     Atlas Code 83
Turnouts: Peco Code 83 #5's, a few Walthers #5's and Walthers curved turnouts and Walthers wye.
Minimum Radius: 24"
Length of mainline: 200 feet (approx)
Scenery:      This is a brand new layout with the bench work just beginning.  
Backdrop: Will be painted on walls
Power system Lenz DCC, sound equipped
